Using AWS S3 or DigitalOcean Spaces with ActiveStorage

Ruby on Rails comes with the option to store user’s files (images, videos, etc.) on a dedicated service like Amazon’s S3 or DigitalOcean Spaces. With Rails’ ActiveStorage this is really easy, but it involves still a bit of set up.

Sjabloon to the rescue as with every new app you can easily choose which service you want to use and Sjabloon will add the correct gems and configuration for you. Winning! 🙌
